What size of storage room will I need?
This depends on the quantity and type of items you wish to store: we offer storage units. Ask our team members without any obligation. They will be able to help you choose the right size. The price of each unit depends on the square metres.
How high are the storage rooms?
The average height is 2.5 m. If you need to store a large item, we will help you find the most suitable storage solution.
Can I store a fridge or a freezer?
The storage of any perishable goods is prohibited in our storage rooms for rent.
What restrictions are there on what I can store inside the storage room?
According to the contract, the storage of all goods that in general may endanger the health or safety of persons or things is strictly forbidden, among which are
– Commercial goods prohibited by laws and regulations (stagnant goods, stolen goods or goods resulting from any illegal act against private property).
– Chemicals, gases, explosives, toxic and flammable products.
– Animals, whether dead or alive.
– In general, any perishable product.
Is my storage room insured?
Mallorcaspace undertakes to insure the goods to be stored for a total value of 3,000 euros maximum, informing the Customer of the name of the insurance company with which the insurance has been taken out and the policy number. If the goods to be stored have a total value of more than 3,000 euros, the Client shall have the option of providing private insurance to cover the excess value of the goods.
Can I sleep inside my storage room?
No. According to the contract, it is strictly forbidden to use the module, whether permanently, occasionally or on a one-off basis, among others:
– As a dwelling or residence
– As a business or tax address
– As an address for notification purposes
Will my belongings be safe?
Security is paramount in all our storage rooms. In addition to 24-hour CCTV cameras, we use a coded electronic access system with individual PIN codes, plus a variety of fire and smoke detection systems.
How much does it cost to rent a storage room?
Costs depend on the size of the storage room, the location and the duration of the contract. Please contact customer service to request a quote according to your needs.
How far in advance do I have to give notice to deregister my storage room?
If you have decided to free your space in Mallorcaspace and no longer require their services, it is necessary to inform the person in charge of your centre at least 15 days in advance. You can do this by calling 633 561 460 or writing a message via WhatsApp to the corresponding number.
